FAQ
The Empire State Building Premium Experience includes a guided 90-minute tour, led by an ESB Ambassador, for a personalized, in-depth look at the building’s history and design. You will enjoy priority, skip-the-line access throughout the experience, including entry to both the 86th Floor and 102nd Floor Observation Decks.
The experience also includes access to key areas such as the restored Art Deco lobby, Celebrity Walk, and immersive exhibits, along with a complimentary souvenir photograph to commemorate your visit. This exclusive tour is conducted in a small group setting (up to 7 guests) for a more personalized experience.
The Premium Guided Tour offers a more personalized, in-depth experience led by an expert ESB Ambassador who shares unique insights into the building’s history, architecture, and cultural significance. You will hear trivia, facts, and stories not available on a self-guided visit. Unlike general admission, it also includes priority access through key areas, a structured tour of highlights, and a small group setting — so you can see more, learn more, and make the most of your visit.
The Premium Experience is generally available Monday through Friday at select times throughout the day, including 9:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 4:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 9:30 PM. Availability may vary, so please check the booking calendar for the most up-to-date schedule.
The 86th Floor Observation Deck is our world-famous open-air experience, with breathtaking 360-degree views of New York City. Feel the breeze, hear the energy of the streets below, and take in the Manhattan skyline from the heart of it all. Featured in countless films and TV shows, a visit to the 86th Floor is the iconic, can’t-miss New York City experience.
The 102nd Floor is our premier indoor observation deck, located 1,250 feet above street level and reached via a stunning glass elevator ride. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a fully climate-controlled environment, it offers the highest and most expansive views in the building. This more intimate experience lets you take in New York City and beyond — up to 80 miles across six states on a clear day.
The Empire State Building stands apart for its blend of historic significance, immersive exhibits, and iconic observation decks, which include the open-air 86th Floor Observation Deck and the enclosed 102nd Floor Observation Deck. Unlike newer attractions, the Empire State Building Observation Deck offers a full museum experience that showcases its construction, cultural impact, and role in American history. Its observation decks deliver a classic Manhattan skyline experience, while its global recognition and Art Deco design make it one of the most authentic and memorable ways to see New York City.
